“어떤 건축을 추구할 것인가?” 기술의 진보는 인간의 삶에 큰 변화를 일으키며 인간에게 시간적, 공간적, 경제적 잉여를 제공한다. 그리고 이러한 진보는 인간에게 새로운 기회와 가능성을 열어주는 원동력이 되고 있다. 그렇다면 현 시점에서 기술의 발달은 건축에게 어떤 새로운 기회와 가능성을 제공하고 있는가? 앞으로 어떤 새로운 기회와 가능성을 제공할 수 있는가? 이번 프로젝트에서 모듈러는 ʻ건축은 시스템’이라는 전제 하에 공간을 구성하고 이해하는 하나의 공간 단위이자 기준이 되며 건축 실험의 도구가 된다. 우리의 미래 건축은 이런 시스템적 접근을 바탕으로, 기술의 혜택을 극대화하여 혁신적이고 지속 가능한 방향으로 나아가야 한다.
“Which architecture should we pursue?” The advancement of technology brings significant changes to human life, providing temporal, spatial, and economic surpluses. This progress becomes a driving force that opens up new opportunities and possibilities for humans. So, what new opportunities and possibilities does the development of technology offer to architecture at this point? What new opportunities and possibilities can it provide in the future? In this project, modularity becomes a spatial unit and standard for composing and understanding space, as well as a tool for architectural experimentation, based on the premise that ‘architecture is a system.’ Our future architecture should move in an innovative and sustainable direction by maximizing the benefits of technology through this systemic approach.
